AL   ISLAH   ORPHANAGE  1989

Al Islah orphanage Wadi Rahma, Kodiyathur was founded with the financial assistance of Zakath House Kuwait in 1989 and is now regarded as a model orphanage in the country. The orphanage won the championship in many Art and Sport competitions held by the orphanages control board of the Govt. and the Kerala State Muslim Orphanages Coordination Committee for the inmates of various orphanages in the state. In 1995, Asma Bint Abubaker Girl’s orphanage was founded as a corollary institution of the orphanage. The Orphanage that maintains high academic levels also possesses excellent infrastructural facilities. More than two hundred inmates are currently studying at the orphanage.
